So there's this new girl at work

and she's flakey. Yesterday she left on break without telling me (I was in charge as the owners of the hotel I work at were out). Then our brand inspector showed up. Later on, I discovered she was yakking on her cell phone while cleaning her rooms (she's a maid). And, she has not taken her trash once this week. So all week I've been taking it out. This is going to sound terrible, but I hope she quits.

Cereal tastes amazing in the morning. Is that because I am hungry from not eating all night or is is because cereal just tastes amazing?

My first random thought

Whatever happened to the band Heart? They seem to have vanished into 80s hair band obscurity. They had quite a few hits and perhaps I am overglorifying the band in my mind, but to me they were the female Zepp. Chicks that can really rock, I mean how cool is that? The early stuff like Barracuda, Crazy on You, Straight On, Magic Man...golden. And then the 80s ballads!! Tear. I love Stranded and These Dreams. And then All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You. That's one of their few songs that get radio play. And the point? Well, there wasn't one. I'm just reliving 16, singing into hairbrushes with my best friend Jess to our Heart: The Hits cd.
